Shipping Info
LoveAndVows.com Tax Information:
Orders for products shipped to addresses in Wisconsin will be charged state sales tax. Orders shipping outside of Wisconsin will not be charged sales tax.
Canadian customers and their orders are subject to Canadian laws. This means Canadian Customs charges, federal taxes, provincial taxes and other charges may apply once you receive your order. Because this is determined by the Canadian government, the charges are not included in any of LoveAndVows.com charges. The receiver of the order is responsible for any and all charges levied by the above government authorities. All prices list on this website are in U.S. Dollars.
Shipping Costs:
We strive to keep our shipping costs as low as possible. The prices are displayed at checkout and are usually enough to cover the actual shipping cost plus material (boxes, packing material, labels, etc.) and the time it takes to package the items (wages).
Two Day Air and Overnight available on many U.S. orders, prices will be shown at checkout. Two Day Air and Overnight does not include weekend days or holidays.
Canadian orders cost more and the Canadian shipping cost will be displayed before you confirm your order. This is calculated after our system collects your address information.
Shipping Schedule:
Orders without personalized items usually leave our warehouse in 2-3 business days. Orders with personalized merchandise may take up to 14 days to ship, although most ship sooner. Occasionally, items are backordered. This is usually listed in the item description.
Once orders leave our warehouse, they usually arrive within 2-8 business days. Shipments to Canada, U.S. Territories, Alaska, Hawaii and APO / Military addresses may take longer (10-21 business days).
Rush Orders:
Our shipping schedule allows all orders to ship as soon as possible. If you need an order on short notice, we would advise you to choose a faster shipping method (if available) at checkout. Examples of faster shipping would be 2 Day Air or Overnight. Please be aware however, that this only speeds up the time you order takes to get to you ONCE IT HAS LEFT OUR WAREHOUSE. It does not change the processing time (see "Shipping Schedule" above.)
Shipping Methods:
LoveAndVows.com uses USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL shipping services. LoveAndVows.com decides which company/method to use.
Orders shipping to P.O. Boxes, Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. Territories, Canada and APO / Military ship via USPS. We do not offer 2 Day Air and Overnight shipping to these areas.
Late Deliveries:
LoveAndVows.com will not be held responsible for orders delivered late when the order is placed late and improper shipping is selected, when a signature is needed and no one is available, when we are unaware of the date needed, an improper shipping address on your order form or delivery problems caused by weather conditions. Under normal conditions, if LoveAndVows.com cannot confidently make your date, your order will be canceled and you will be notified by e-mail. No refund or return will be due if it is deemed that all procedures were followed to make the delivery under conditions as specified on this webpage. When orders are placed early and when you are aware of production times in product descriptions, late deliveries are never an issue.
Special Instructions:
UPS, Federal Express, DHL and the US Postal Service have their own delivery policies for different areas of the country as far as "signing for" or placement on delivery. It is impossible to add special delivery instructions to a shipping label. If you require special delivery instructions other than type of service, please contact your local office of the shipping company.
Fragile Items & Candles:
Most shipments are insured against damage. This DOES NOT include candles melting in hot weather. We always recommend shipping candle products Overnight as neither the shipping company or LoveAndVows.com will be held responsible if candles arrive melted.
If you receive something damaged, please contact us immediately at CustomerService@LoveAndVows.com. All requests for damage replacements or credits MUST be made via e-mail. This is to provide a paper trail to follow. Requests for damage replacements or credits will NOT be accepted by phone. We will advise you to e-mail us the request.
Undeliverable Addresses:
If an order is returned to us from the shipping company due to it being undeliverable, you will be charged to send it out again. If the mistake was made by LoveAndVows.com personnel, you will not be charged again.
Refused Orders:
If an order is returned to us because it was refused by the receiver, you will receive a refund for the merchandise only. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
